Rhythm City is a South African musical drama series produced by Quizzical Pictures. It is an e.tv original production that premiered on the country’s free-to-air television channel e.tv on 9 July 2007 as a replacement for the now-defunct youth-targeted soap opera, Backstage, on weekdays at 19:00. Lerato Moloi who plays as Madikgetla the detective who is dating Suffocate Ndlovu is expected to leave Rhythm City month.

Lerato has just lost her dear mother Candy Moloi who played Makhadzi on Muvhango a few days ago, to Cancer.

Madikgetla is currently playing as a jealous girlfriend who will do anything to keep her man Suffocate Ndlovu.

She has noticed that Nandi Ngobese is about to take her man. However, it is so unfortunate because things will take a bad turn when Khulekani plans to kill Suffocate Ndlovu and end up killing detective Madikgetla.

On the other hand, Nandi is going to leave her husband Khulekani as soon as she finds out that he is the one who is responsible for Madikgetla ‘s death.
