Kelly Khumalo finally made comments on Senzo Meyiwa’s case
Senzo Robert Meyiwa was a South African professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Orlando Pirates in the Premier Soccer League, and for the South Africa national team. He was shot and killed in a robbery on 26 October 2014. Kelly Khumalo, the ex-girlfriend of late Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, finally speaks out.
Meyiwa was shot and killed while visiting Kelly Khumalo’s house in Vosloorus in October 2014.
Despite promises by the minister of police Bheki Cele to bring the criminals who killed the former Bucs keeper to book, nobody has been convicted six years since the crime was committed.
“The case of Senzo Meyiwa’s death needs to be concluded it’s been more than 6years now,” said Kelly Khumalo.
Kelly Khumalo has finally opened up about Senzo Meyiwa’s death on the latest episode of Devi Sankaree Govendor’s show.
In a glimpse of the episode, Kelly Khumalo said that she is named a criminal just because she had an affair with the late married man Senzo Meyiwa. She said she is currently in a relationship with a man who recently left his wife and people have already judged her to be a criminal and home wrecker.
On the episode, Kelly also talked about her Russian accent on her Instagram and quarrel between her and her sister Zandi Khumalo.
In an Instagram she posted earlier, she was very emotional and put on a Russian accent talking about Senzo Meyiwa’s death while drinking her alcohol brand “Controversy Gin”. She mentioned how hard it is to be a woman in South Africa as she was a victim of the system and the law had failed her.
Kelly Khumalo further mentioned that the police are useless as the people who murdered Senzo Meyiwa are still out there walking free and enjoying their lives.”The matter of my daughter’s father needs to be concluded.”Kelly said.
