See why Bonang and Somizi hated each other

Bonang Matheba and Somizi Mhlongo were best friends for many years before their good friendship ended in 2016. Even though the pair has kissed and made up, most fans still don’t know what really happened between the two that eventually led to their friendship being broken.

This is what happened:

In 2012, Bonang faced domestic violence from her ex-boyfriend, Euphonic and she says she called Somizi to come pick her up after this occurrence. Bonang says Somizi is the witness of this violence because he saw her right after the deed but it shocked her when Somizi became friends with Euphonic, the very same person who abused her friend.

Bonang then began losing the trust she had for her friend, Somizi. She said, “It took me a while to eventually leave that relationship, and years after I had, Somizi, who was my friend, suddenly became friends with my ex. The same one whose violence towards me he had witnessed. That’s when I knew he had to go. I could not trust him anymore so I cut him out of my life.”

However, She and Somizi are now back together as friends as Somizi revealed that she came to him and said that she misses him and so they kissed and became friends again. Bonang was also spotted at Somizi’s mom funeral which came as a shock to most fans who didn’t know that they are friends again.
