Siphesihle Ndaba\u00a0is a South African actress best known for playing the role Mazet on new popular crime series Gomora that aired on 30 March 2020.\u00a0Siphesihle Ndaba\u00a0went to The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (OWLAG) for high school.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mazet<\/b><\/h3>\n

Siphesihle plays Mazet who introduces Ntokozo into the life of crime.\u00a0 Mazet is a Siphelishle’s first TV role and came a few months after she graduated with her arts degree from Rhodes University.<\/p>\n

Siphesihle had to sent an audition tape from London where she had gone on a travel bursary. Speaking to Channel24 she revealed the process that led to getting the role.<\/p>\n

“I was in London at the time, on a travel bursary, and I had to ask everyone I was with to help record my self-tape. Everyone was assigned a role; from cameraman to the extras and I am so grateful that they were all willing to help me. We taped it, I sent it back to his team and they asked me to come in for a second call back once I arrived back in SA. That\u2019s when I got the part.”<\/p>\n
