AKA\u00a0has celebrated the 1 year anniversary of his very own signature sneaker that the collaborated with reebok .\u00a0The moment was however bitter-sweet as he was reminded about the failed deal which was going to see him 7-figure richer but instead he did not even get a cent.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Even though he is proud of his sneaker turning a year old,AKA\u00a0could not hide his anger at how Reebok\u00a0two-timed him. Last year he spoke about how they cancelled his deal \u00a0<\/a>out of the blue because they wanted to take a different direction.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “At the end of last year they told me they wouldn\u2019t be renewing my contract because \u201cthe brand\u201d wasn\u2019t about the Reebok \u201cclassic\u201d direction anymore … they were now geared towards selling gym clothes to women predominantly,” he wrote.<\/p>\n All of this happened after the rapper had jetted off to the states to meet up with the bosses and sign the contract.<\/p>\n AKA revealed that he does not want to take them to court because karma is doing all the work for him. According to him, Reebok is not doing so well and he believes that if they let him continue with their signed contract and paid the royalties to him, people would still be supporting their company.<\/p>\n\n
