Who Can Apply For Sassa R350 Grant?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There is a widespread false belief that Sassa grants are only available to senior citizens. People who wish to apply for a grant fall into a number of different classifications. The\u00a0National Assistance Act of\u00a02004 and its accompanying legislation establish the legal structure for the management of seven social grants throughout the country.<\/p>\n

\u2013 not earning any income;<\/p>\n

\u2013 no social support;<\/p>\n

\u2013 no jobless insurance coverage and no unemployment insurance coverage;<\/p>\n

\u2013 no scholarship from the National Scholarship for Students Financial Aid Scheme; and<\/p>\n

\u2013 no occupants from government funds or subsidized institutions.<\/p>\n

NEW \u2013 SASSA has broadened the scope of its eligibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The quantity of allowed to sign up individuals has expanded as personal carers who are receiving a Child Support Grant can now also access this R350 grant.<\/p>\n

A WhatsApp text is sent at 0600 123 456 and SASSA is chosen or an E-mail is sent to\u00a0SRD@sassa.gov.za<\/a>. The finalization of extra access platforms, which will include SMS messages, self-help desks, and an online application procedure, is ongoing.<\/p>\n
