South Africa’s famous couple, Nonhlanhla and Hector Mkansi, who stole Mzansi and some parts of the world’s hearts with their love, have responded to rumours that they are going through a divorce.

The two caused a stir on social media after Hector proposed to Nonhlanhla, while they were enjoying a meal in an Evaton KFC in Vereeniging.

The moment was captured by the security cameras in KFC. The snaps were shared online and the couple’s proposal went viral.

The two trended so much with many Mzansi people celebrating their love and sweet moments all over  social media.

Also, the couple even got big sponsors to cover their wedding ceremony, honeymoon, and other things which they needed.  They got married on New Year’s Eve.

However, lately, there has been a rumour that the couple was going through a divorce.

This has caused so much shock to their fans.

However, Nonhlanhla and Hector Mkansi denied the rumours and have said their love is growing even stronger.

Hector said they didn’t know about rumours about their break up until a relative called them asking about their divorce.

“We were shocked and confused. My wife showed me a post on social media of people talking about it.”

Nonhlanhla went on and said that they are even looking forward to their honeymoon in New York, but  postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We’ve always known that not everyone will be happy for us, but we’re going strong.”
