Meet DJ Black Coffee’s “Twin Brother”.Nkosinathi Innocent Sizwe Maphumulo (born 11 March 1976), better known by his stage name Black Coffee, is a South African DJ, record producer, and songwriter. Born in Durban and relocated to Mthatha, Coffee established his own record label Soulistic Music, released his debut self-titled album Black Coffee (2005), which incorporated elements of R&B and jazz.

DJ Black Coffee

Internationally recognized DJ Black Coffee recently shared a video after he bumped into his look-alike when he played at a Cape Town club. The man looked almost identical to him and he was wearing practically the same glasses as his.

He then recorded a video of himself looking at the guy with a surprised face. The man has since been identified as Real Phumzo on Twitter.

After Black Coffee shared the video, Phumzo commented on the post. He wrote:

“It’s all loving Bhuti, thank you so much.”

Reacting, this is what Black Coffee’s fans had to say;

“Usathi usuyahamba, kant uzozibona usahlel nabangan bakho (When you leaving, but you see yourself still sitting with your friends).”

Recently, DJ Black Coffee clapped back at a troll telling him who to spend his time with after stating on his Twitter account that he wants to spend some time with the King of France Louis XIV AKA Louis the Great.

In the post, Black Coffee wrote,

“Got to hang out with Louis XIV.”

However, a tweep who uses the handle @MbomvuAndileh attacked Black Coffee, suggesting that the DJ should consider hanging out with local heroes such as Shaka Zulu and others.

He wrote:

”When are u going to hang out with aboShaka Zulu and yo Walter Sisulu , telling us about Louis , who da f**k is Louis.”

The suggestion did not go well with Black Coffee who clapped back and said,

“Question is, who the f*ck are you to tell me what to do?”
