Nina Mkhize joins the cast of Uzalo

Nina Mkhize debuted on Monday night’s episode of Uzalo, taking on the role of Belinda Mncube, MaNgcobo’s new friend who appears to have bad habits.

Nina Mkhize made her first appearance on the latest episode of SABC 1’s Uzalo, which aired on Monday, 2 November 2020. The singer-turned-actress assumes the role of Belinda Mncube, a lady who befriended MaNgcobo whilst she was away. Belinda is believed to be consume a copious amount of alcohol and cigarettes.

The previous episode saw MaNgcobo returning to the storyline after an unexpected break from the series. Belinda’s friendship is said to be the only thing that carried her through the months away from her estranged partner, Nkunzi, whom she claims to still love. Belinda offered her advice on how to be a strong, independent woman, and tried to empower her to leave Nkunzi in her past, once and for all. MaNgcobo’s new friend also offered her shelter whilst she got back onto her feet, giving her a sense of security.
