Dineo Langa shares her most cherished memories

Dineo Langa chatted about life’s most memorable moments . Dineo says that she knew she wanted to be in the entertainment industry from a very young age . ” At 12years old is when I began to zero in on my singing ability ,” so she says.

Although most might know her for her impressive acting abilities and as a formidable Tv host , Dineo is a triple threat in the industry having trained at the National School of the Arts and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York.

But as we’ve learned,  life sometimes has other for our future and gives us a gentle nudge in the right direction .

Dineo has special memories,  visiting her mother veteran radio personality Kgomotso”kg” Moeketsi at the SABC studios as a child and recalls one moment in particular , which she will treasure forever.

“The most special has to be when my mother, who was the first black woman to have a breakfast show at the time interviewed Mandela and took me to work with her that day so i can meet him”, She says.

Being spotlight often comes with setbacks but she says that it’s by ” knowing ” herself , that she maintains a positive outlook. “I know how much further I still have to go . I’m one of the most motivated people around and I thrive on ambition” she says .
